NSPU being a partner of Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management (NSUEM) is currently implementing the project "The Regional Center for Assessment and Development of Management Competencies ". Creating regional centers at universities all over the country was initiated by an Autonomous Non–profit Organization established in 2018 on the initiative of President of Russia, "Russia is a Land of Opportunity" (RLO). Each student on the RLO platform can take a test, get an assessment feedback of their supra-professional competencies or soft skills and, finally, receive a number of individual development trajectories.

Students of the Faculty of Psychology were the first people to get the tests and successfully pass them. Graduating from the university they were awarded Bachelor’s diplomas and the skill-passports, a digital certificate, which can be officially accepted by employers. The representative of the regional center for Competence Assessment and Development of the ANO "Russia is a Land of Opportunity", Vice–rector for Academic Affairs of the NSUEM Zinaida Valeryevna Rodionova noted that our students demonstrated a high degree of stress tolerance according to the results of testing. 

– There is no doubt that soft skills help graduates to be sufficiently adapted to the challenges of the modern-day labor market. This competence is one of the main priorities of higher education. Having access to the database, employers will be able to choose personnel with certain competencies that attract them most, – says the first Vice-rector of NSPU Nikolay Aleksandrovich Ryapisov.
