This is the first time such an achievement has been realised at NSPU. By the end of 2024, IFMITO students Anastasia Brutenko, Irina Plotnikova, and Maria Fedorova will each receive one-off personalised corporate scholarships from Rosatom Concern JSC, valued at 100,000 rubles. Other recipients of grants from Concern Rosatom JSC, each worth 250,000 rubles, were teachers from IFMITO.

On October 30, the Department of Modern Russian Language and Methods of Teaching at Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University (NSPU), in partnership with the Institute of the Russian Language at Dalian University of Foreign Languages, hosted an open scientific lecture focused on contemporary issues in Russian language studies. The lecture was presented by Professor Marina Aleksandrovna Lappo and was attended by Master's degree and PhD students, along with faculty members from China.
Traces of wireless communication dating back to the 18th century have been discovered by Andrey Pavlovich Borodovsky, a leading researcher at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as a professor at NSPU and a Doctor of Historical Sciences. His discovery occurred while he was gathering materials for a collaborative project focused on the border defensive structures of Siberia.
