NSPU Project for Development of Kindergartens One of the Best in Russia

In 2023, teachers from14 regions of Russia designed models for the development of kindergartens. The media workshop “Technologies for Effective Interaction with the Parent Community”, created at the NSPU Regional Resource Center “Family and Children”, was included in the collection of the best projects “Kindergarten - Development Routes”.

The collection was designed by the Institute of Child Development, Health and Adaptation together with some grantee organizations. The aim of the project is to create a system of internship sites that facilitate work of nursery schools. The supervisor of the NSPU media workshop project is the head of the NSPU Regional Resource Center “Family and Children” Olga Evgenievna Ignatenko with her team of 13 people. The partners of the project are the Department of Education of the Novosibirsk City Hall, the Ministry of Education of the Novosibirsk Region and the Council of Fathers of the Novosibirsk Region. The project is also supported via networking with 34 preschool educational organizations. In total, 70 specialists from these organizations are involved in the project.

The internship platform “Technologies for Effective Interaction with the Parent Community” is an online educational environment in the form of a media workshop on the Moodle platform. It contains professional videos on how to use modern technologies to interact with parents in preschool educational institutions.

These internship sites were created in three stages. Firstly, the specialists identified common interaction issues between preschool educational institutions and parents, and prepared helpful videos to solve those problems. On the next stage, the team made a list of participants of the internship site and created personal accounts for them on the Moodle platform. The final stage was carried out as a round table discussion. The participants of the internship site brought up their best experiences and shared their ideas on how to interact with the parent community more effectively, and also reflected on the results of the work of the internship site.

- This project is a huge step forward building relationships in the “educator-child-parent” system. Our specialists create their own social and pedagogical platform for interaction and partnership between all members of the educational process, - says Olga Evgenievna Ignatenko.

The media workshop education resources are presented in four sections. These are sets of proprietary video lectures: “Features of Different Categories of Families Attending Organizations that Implement Preschool Education Programs” and “Technologies for Interaction with Different Categories of Families in Organizations that Implement Preschool Education Programs,” as well as sections “Let's Practice!” and "Library".
