The two days of work at the forum included three major events: a Round table meeting of rectors, the participants of the Chinese-Russian Union of Higher Pedagogical Educational Institutions "Modern Challenges of Pedagogical Education in Russia and China", the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Pedagogical Professionalism in Modern Education (in conditions of global digitalization)” and the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference (with international participation) “Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence”.

There were seven project platforms "Digitalization in Education", "Digital Competencies of a Modern Specialist", "Digitalization in Inclusive Education", "Digital Education in the Additional Professional Education", "Artificial Intelligence in Education", "Development of End-to-end Digital Competencies in Theoretical and Practical Education”, “Digital Transformation of Education: Problems and Prospects”. A total number of presentations was 115. All the reports at the project sites were broadcast on the NSPU channel of Youtube video hosting. The total duration of video broadcasts is 19.5 hours; the total number of views currently is 2600.

- The most discussed issues of the forum were the quality of electronic educational resources. Educational institutions of the country are preparing to place their distance learning resources on the state platforms in 2023 according to the order of the Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. In this situation, a register of verified digital educational resources has a special meaning. The country has already accumulated serious experience in the regulation of printed textbooks, consequently, the introduction of state accreditation tools for online educational programs is logical, - said Vadim Valeryevich Grinshkun, professor at the Department of Informatization of Education at Moscow City University.

- We’ve been assessing the quality of electronic resources in Russia for years already, for example, in the 2000s we had the Federal Expert Council. One of its sections worked on analyzing and evaluating electronic educational resources in the country. There was an important advantage of that work that is important to keep now: the experts assessed not only resources of being high quality or not, they also gave recommendations on how to improve this or that resource. In that respect, the Council made a significant contribution to improving the quality of electronic educational resources, - said Vadim Valeryevich. - In our opinion, we need to continue this work. It is true to say, we are currently working on some resources which will get to schools later after being verified.

The participants of the forum held a lot of discussions on the problems of raising zoomers - children of the digital world who were born in the first decades of the 21st century. Both Chinese and Russian experts agreed that the teacher's personality continues to be a key figure in the learning process even under current learning conditions. Moreover, special attention should be paid to one's cultural identity.

- The China-Russia relations have had a unique, centuries-old and original history. There is no future without the past, and if we do not rely on our experience, we cannot shape the future that we want. People in the two countries are able to understand each other easily: at this forum there were questions about how to raise children, how to raise a real citizen. We shared the same fundamental issues that are very important for us and our Chinese colleagues, - said Rector of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University Andrey Nikolaevich Makarenko.

News media was also involved in the International forum "Pedagogical Education in the Context of Global Digitalization". Thus, “Uchitelskaya Gazeta”, “Bolshaya Peremena”, “Novosibirsk Open Educational Network”, TASS, Rambler and other sites told their readers that a federal state educational standard for a specialist in pedagogical education is going to be prepared by the end of the year. The rector of Moscow State Pedagogical University Alexey Vladimirovich Lubkov informed the participants about the upcoming changes. Also, websites of the following universities shared news about the forum: Moscow State Pedagogica University, Herzen State Pedagogical University, Tomsk State Pedagogical University, Shukshin Altai State Humanities Pedagogical University, Bashkir State Pedagogical University, Novosibirsk Institute of Further Education, and the Ministry of Education of the Novosibirsk Region.
