NSPU Graduate Vladimir Tarasenko Became a Two-Time Stanley Cup Winner

Vladimir Tarasenko entered the NSPU in 2008. At the same time, he became the main player in the games of the Continental Hockey League (СHL). In 2009, Vladimir became captain of the Russian youth team. In 2011, together with the team, he received the title of the World Champion. After this successful season, the hockey player signed a contract with the National Hockey League (NHL) St. Louise Blues (USA). In his first matches for the NHL, Vladimir Tarasenko became the best player, which later helped him get into the Russian Olympic team. In 2014, Vladimir graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education and continued his glittering career.

Vladimir Tarasenko won the first Stanley Cup in 2019. Then he brought the cup to Novosibirsk, and thousands of Siberians stood in line to see the historical trophy. In 2019, Vladimir Tarasenko played for the St. Louis Blues club, in 2024 he plays for the Florida Panthers club. Now, our famous alumnus also has contracts with the New York Rangers and Ottawa Senators clubs.
