Leonid Anatolyevich Dedyukha was born in 1991 in the village of Sibirsky, the Kupinsky district, the Novosibirsk region. He got a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Mathematics Education (Physics) at the IFMITO NSPU and then completed a Master's degree at the NSPU IFMITE in "Pedagogical Education" with a focus on Physical education. Leonid was actively involved in student life, frequently featuring in publications in the local newspaper “Ves’ Universitet”.
After his graduation from the university, Leonid joined the army. In 2014 he began his career as a Physics teacher at Gymnasium No. 11 “Harmony” in Novosibirsk. He is a winner of the All-Russian competition “Pedagogical Debut-2016”, a laureate of the pedagogical teams’ competition (St. Petersburg, 2018), and a prize-winner in the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for Natural Science Teachers (2021). Leonid was the absolute winner of the All-Russian competition “Discovering the Country” (2023) and won the pedagogical achievements competition in St. Petersburg in the “Teacher” category (2024). On October 5, he was named the absolute winner of the “Teacher of the Year in Russia 2024” competition.
