NOVOSIBIRSK STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY
During the qualifying stage of the eighth season of the Olympiad, 128,545 students from across Russia tested their skills, with 25,777 achieving the required scores to advance to the final stage. It’s schedule to commence in February and conclude in April 2025. Participants will be tasked with solving practical problems made by representatives from 33 Russian universities and the project’s industrial partners.
NSPU has traditionally been among the co-organisers of the All-Russian Olympiad for students “I Am a Professional” in the field of “Pedagogical Education (Basic)”. In February 2025, the semi-finals of the Olympiad will take place at the university’s venue in a remote format. In the meantime, participants are required to complete the accompanying forms and familiarise themselves with the teaching materials available in their personal accounts on the Olympiad website. To prepare participants for the final stage, the Moscow City Pedagogical University, which is the organiser of the Olympiad in the field of “Pedagogical Education (Basic),” is conducting a series of webinars in various pedagogical areas.
This year, 12 students from NSPU participated in the semi-finals for the field of “Pedagogical Education (Basic)”. Other popular fields among NSPU students included “Special Defectological Education”, “Class Teacher”, “Psychology”, “Linguistics and Literary Criticism” and “History and Culture of Russia.”
Prizewinners and winners of the Olympiad are offered a variety of opportunities for career support and post-competition assistance. This includes advantages when applying for the next level of education, cash bonuses of up to 300,000 roubles, and access to the Olympiad’s career portal.
