NSPU Graduate Advances to Semi-Finals of All-Russian “Klassnaya Tema!” TV Show

The project is being carried out by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation in collaboration with Rossia TV channel, also with information support from the VK company, as part of the national initiative “The Youth and Children”.

This year, the competition set a new record, with 6,720 applications received from teachers across the country. The youngest participant was 18 years old, while the oldest was 76. The most active regions were Krasnodar Krai, Novosibirsk Oblast, and St Petersburg.

The process of selecting semi-finalists is becoming increasingly challenging each year, as teachers showcase a high level of expertise and a creative approach to their profession. The judges selected 35 of the most outstanding and innovative participants, including Yulia Gennadyevna Bogdanova, a History teacher at MBOU S(K)School No. 53, who works with children with disabilities.

Yulia Gennadyevna took part in the finals of the regional stage of the “Teacher-Defectologist of Russia” competition, where she was named among the winners.

- I’d like to encourage NSPU students to get involved in public events and competitions as early as possible. It is an invaluable experience: you gain a team of like-minded peers, connections that last well beyond the competition itself, and a meaningful entry into the wider world of teaching, - she remarked.

The semi-finalists will receive an invitation to Moscow to participate in a professional television studio recording, where they will film their competition lessons. These recorded sessions will be published on the project’s official VKontakte community, launching a public voting phase to select the finalists. The seven highest-rated teachers will then showcase their lessons in a grand finale broadcast on the national channel, Russia 1.

The main prize of the project is the chance to create and present an educational show on a national channel. Russian Minister of Education Sergey Sergeevich Kravtsov highlighted that the core mission of "Klassnaya Tema!" is to spotlight Russia’s most gifted and innovative teachers, demonstrating their exceptional ability to transform even the most challenging curriculum topics into captivating and easily understandable lessons for students.
