Kirill Budyakovsky noted that the news of the scholarship award was a pleasant reward for his long preparation:
- We submitted our scholarship applications in late May. It is truly wonderful to receive such news after such a long wait; it has certainly been worth it. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Konstantin Mikhailovich Zhomin, Deputy Dean of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, for his invaluable assistance with the paperwork, as well as to my coach, Nikolay Borisovich Khalukhaev, whose support was instrumental in my athletic achievements.
Evgeny Bandaevsky emphasised that the scholarship was a recognition of his academic and community contributions.
- For me, this is not merely financial support but also a symbol that the efforts of a history student are genuinely appreciated. Participation in conferences, publishing work, and engaging with young people - all of these have proven meaningful. This award inspires me to continue my research and teaching.
According to Sergey Aleksandrovich Nelyubov, Acting Rector of NSPU and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, the participation of the university’s students in the inaugural programme of named scholarships from the Russian Ministry of Education and Science attests to the high standard of education at NSPU. He emphasised that supporting talented young people enhances the prestige of the teaching profession, and for university students, it provides an additional incentive to excel in academia, sport, the arts, and community engagement.
The Russian Ministry of Education’s Personal Scholarship Programme was launched in 2025. Its purpose is to support students who have excelled in academics, research, sport, and the arts, as well as to encourage aspiring teachers and bolster the nation’s educational workforce.
