NSPU has a new partner - Historical park "Russia – my history"

Cultural, educational and social activities of the project are aimed at implementing civil-patriotic, spiritual, moral and aesthetic education of young people. NSPU students will get acquainted with the work of the largest exposition complex in Russia and will even take part in the creation of educational projects for residents of Novosibirsk and the region.

- Both NSPU teachers and students are deeply interested in the work of Historical Park as employees and ordinary visitors, our students attend educational events in the park as a part of their study in order to get to know the history of our country better, - said NSPU Rector Alexey D. Gerasyov. – Every educator must be a patriot and know the history of the country, so this project with the multimedia museum will facilitate professional education of History teachers in the future.

The main areas of the collaboration between NSPU and Historical park "Russia – my history" are:

  • providing organizational, informational and other support of social programs in the historical and cultural education;
  • providing exposition, exhibition and lecture rooms, visual materials and necessary paraphernalia; supporting educational, methodological and excursion work;
  • popularization of historical science and local history, Russian traditions and moral values, education of citizenship, patriotism and love for the Motherland.

- This collaboration is really important for us as NSPU is the largest educational center in the Siberian Federal District. It’s impossible to achieve great results in education and upbringing without well-designed educational programs and learning environment, - mentioned Director of Historical park "Russia – my history" Alexey O. The two partners also plan to hold joint cultural events in Novosibirsk and the region.

Reference. Historical parks "Russia – my history" is the largest educational complex in Russia. It spreads across the country and covers 23 cities: Vladivostok, Pyatigorsk, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Moscow, Nizhniy Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Rostov, Samara, St. Petersburg, Saratov, Stavropol, Surgut, Tyumen, Ufa, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Yakutsk, Chelyabinsk. The park’s creators, such as historians, artists, filmmakers, designers, specialists in computer graphics, did everything possible to make Russian history leave black-and-white textbooks and become a bright, fascinating and at the same time impartial narration, so that every visitor would feel a sense of involvement in the events of more than a thousand-year history of their Fatherland. The project is constantly evolving: one of the last major events was the signing of an agreement with the Knowledge Society, which will place its educational platforms in regional parks.
