NOVOSIBIRSK STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY
The event was held at the Central China Pedagogical University as part of the activities of the Chinese-Russian Union of Higher Pedagogical Educational Institutions. It was attended by both representatives of the host country from Beijing Normal University, Jiangsu Normal University, Shaanxi Normal University, East China Normal University, Northeastern Pedagogical University, as well as Russian teachers from pedagogical universities in Moscow, Blagoveshchensk, Grozny, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk. All reports were devoted to artificial intelligence and other digital technologies as a part of the educational process.
Boris A. Shreiner and Konstantin V. Rozov presented the report "Project activities of students in AI" based on their work with students and schoolchildren which has been carried out at NSPU over the past year and has been repeatedly noted at a high professional level.
- The introduction of AI technologies in secondary schools and in non-core faculties at universities is an important task for society. At the moment, this process is being tested as it is quite difficult to choose the right level of immersion even in simple topics. On the one hand, the information should be accessible to students, and on the other hand, it should be challenging enough for them to develop their own projects, - commented Boris Aleksandrovich.
