– In the modern world, it is impossible to imagine our life without social media. I believe, teachers should know how to form a positive image of the profession and promote education. As a matter of fact, almost everyone is now following the events in the media, including children and their parents. Therefore, it is a great thing to have interesting teachers in social networks who create meaningful content about norms and values, self-knowledge and self-development, - says Elena Vladimirovna.
The duties of the Council will include discussing ideas about media coverage of the activities of the Ministry; informing state authorities and the general public about the activities of the teacher bloggers council, the Ministry and other governmental bodies; holding meetings on activities of the Ministry related to the professional role and development of teachers in Russia.
– My personal motivation is to create and promote a positive image of an educator as a successful, enthusiastic, talented person, the one that sets an example to others to follow. It’s also supporting a professional community of teachers through interesting and verified online information resources and helping teachers in creating and maintaining such resources; promoting key ideas and values, formats and projects of modern education with the help of pedagogical communities in social media; creating website content that inspires, supports and develops parents, children and colleagues, - adds Elena Vladimirovna.
