“100 points is cool!”: the NSPU project to prepare for the Unified State Examination expands its geography

This is the second time when the project “100 points is cool!” provides a unique opportunity for schoolchildren to prepare for the Unified State Examination free of charge. Our pedagogical university students also benefit a lot from the project. They gain experience in teaching high school students for the USE and start their tutoring career.

It started when two other projects, "Mentors" for teachers who have experience in preparing for the exam and "Tutors" for students, joined in collaboration to share their knowledge to schoolchildren. The mentors supervise the tutors in working with school leavers and explain the peculiarities of preparing for the Unified State Exam.

This year the project is expanding its boundaries. “100 points is cool!” is going to be launched in other regions of our country. Moreover, the following subjects will be included in the list: Social studies, Biology and Chemistry. These are added to History, the Russian language and Mathematics.

“Last year, the project turned out to be a huge success among schoolchildren and showed good results, so this year we are going to work on better quality and larger numbers,” – say the project organizers.
