Fifty students from pedagogical universities nationwide have become the inaugural recipients of personal scholarships awarded by the Russian Ministry of Education. Among the awardees are four students from Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University.

On 4 September, at an extended meeting of the Academic Council, Acting Rector Sergey Aleksandrovich Nelyubov presented to staff the results of the infrastructure renovation project, carried out with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education as part of the federal initiative “Teachers and Mentors” within the national project “The Youth and Children”.

Varvara Afanasyevna Bulgakova was a correspondent student at the Pedagogical Institute during the 1940s and worked as a German teacher at School No. 42 in Novosibirsk (now Gymnasium No. 1). Her documents were uncovered while working on the IIGSO NSPU project titled “Bridging Affairs and Fates”.

During their archaeological fieldwork in 2025, IIGSO students from NSPU, under the supervision of the NSPU professor Andrey Pavlovich Borodovsky, produced a new edition of the archaeological map of Novosibirsk, marking the first update in over 30 years. As a matter of fact, the previous version of the map had become considerably outdated due to numerous recent discoveries of archaeological sites.

On 20 June, NSPU held a meeting with international students who have completed their pre-university preparatory programme. The event was attended by students from Croatia, China, Cameroon, Algeria and other countries, alongside faculty members, specialists and volunteer mentors who supported the students throughout the academic year.
